Alyssa’s room decor – memory wall

Alyssa is really growing up so quickly, I cannot believe how time has flown by! We have recently moved her into another room in the house and she is now sleeping in her own “Big girl bed”. I can’t believe that she is out of her cot, no longer wants to sit in her pram and hopefully soon she will be out of nappies tooĀ šŸ™‚

We’ve started decorating her room and I think my obsession with pink is really coming through. On Saturday we started decorating what I call a memory wall which has now started to take shape.

TheĀ piecesĀ on the wall are practically almost all pink and I would like to add some otherĀ pieces that would bring some variety…. maybe some teal or purple…. but I’m sure we will find some color to add.

This is what it looks like thus far:

The canvas poster on the top leftĀ is from Typo and theĀ pink message board isĀ from Mr. Price home. The letter A is also from Typo but I’ve added some pink and white heart washi tape from m-studioĀ to it.

The 2 photo frames were in her old room and the “whatever” sign is from Bokke & Blomme.

What I love about the memory wall is that you can easily add additional pieces or mix and match the pieces around.

My aim now is to find some colorful pieces to break the pink šŸ™‚

What do you think?

Have a fantastic week!

It looks lovely, how about sticking up some of her art too if you want to break the pink that may work. Or get a few faceblocks from Printwild (http://www.printwild.co.za/) … disclaimer that is my Dad and brother’s business but they really are cool
