I’m proud to say that I’ve been staying on track with regard to my fitness goals. Although my schedule has been rather busy this year to date, I’ve been managing to get in a workout a few times each week.
At the beginning of the year, I was contemplating whether or not I should get a personal trainer to help me with my workout routines, but time has just not allowed me to do so. Even though I haven’t been to the actual gym that often, I’ve been working out at home which has been a huge time saver for me.
And thanks to Aaptiv, who offered me a trial subscription, I’ve literally had the best of both worlds of being able to work out at home or even at the gym – with some professional guidance!
Thanks to the app I’ve been able to do various workouts with the help of various personal trainers on the audio app – with really awesome music too!
I literally have no excuse not to workout as there are even 5-minute workouts available to do! Every little bit counts, right?
I’ve been personally enjoying the running workouts and if I really persevere, the app will definitely get me to my full potential for the next 10km race.
The app has different levels, so it’s suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced. The personal trainers digitally encourage and motivate you to go to that next level!
After every workout, I received an email congratulating me on my workout and summarising how many minutes I’ve worked out, using the app.
Is the Aaptiv App for you?
Well, only you can decide that. But if you’re anything like me and absolutely hate going to the gym when it’s extremely packed full of people (like it usually is in January and February) and you have to wait to use a treadmill, then this an option to get your heart rate up in the comfort of your own home.
Because it’s an audio app, I would have to say that if you’re a beginner and are not too familiar with some exercises it will take a bit of time for you to get familiar (especially with the yoga workouts).
If you’re in need of a voice motivating and guiding you through your workouts, without the “commitment” to a physical personal trainer then the app is perfect for you.
