With a 9pm curfew put in place, there’s no better place to spend New Years Eve than in the comfort of our homes.
2020 has been an incredibly tough year for all of us and after the request from the President, we will definitely be lighting a candle in our home at midnight, in honour of those we have lost along the way.
We would also like to mark the new year with some form of celebration with the kids, as it has indeed been a year of note.
I thought I’d share some ideas we are considering to do at home with the kids this New Years Eve.
A new year just has this cleansing effect which allows us to start a new Chapter with a fresh mind. After watching the news and scrolling through Social Media on the last day of 2016, I got the feeling that a fresh start is what everybody needed after the happenings of 2016.
I am so ready for this clean slate too…
I’ve taken up a few new challenges – career wise, which I can’t wait to get started on within the next couple of months. Change is as good as a holiday they say and I’m certainly ready for it!
Hayley’s Joys will also be getting a bit of a makeover this year and I’m really excited about it. There will be a totally new look to the site, and I can’t wait for you to see it.
