I’ve Earned Over R1000 Cash With The SNAPnSAVE App – You Can Too

2016 was a tough year for most family’s and the exorbitant, rising costs of groceries generously contributed to the situation.

On the blog, I moaned a lot about how much I was spending and got the conversation going about ways to save on that monthly bill.

One of these ways was by using a very cool app called SNAPnSAVE.

Since using the app, I’ve earned over R1000 just by buying my usual monthly groceries! I can now (or at any time I need to) “withdraw” these funds in the form of a Wicode which can be used to pay for goods at most major retailers.

The app is really simple to use. It works a lot like regular paper coupons you’d find in magazines or the newspaper – but instead of receiving a discount on items, you get cash straight back into your wallet.

It’s really simple and you can get started in a few easy steps!

  1. First, you need to sign up on the Snapnsave website OR download the app on the Google Play Store or the Apple store, using your email address or mobile number.
  2. Use the promocode “hayleysjoys” to sign up & you will automatically earn R10 into your wallet

Once you are signed up, the fun begins. You will immediately be able to start browsing through a host of offers and “book” the items that you have on your shopping list. You can then head off to the shops and buy as you usually would.

New deals get loaded regularly but the last Friday of each month is the day where deals are not to be missed! You have to be fast with those though, they get booked out so quickly!

Once you leave the store, snap a picture of your till slip and upload it to the app to get the cash back paid into your wallet, which usually takes up to 4 working days.

It’s as simple as that.

I’m looking forward to spending my funds soon after a VERY long January 🙂

What are you waiting for – download the app & don’t forget to use the promocode “hayleysjoys” to receive R10 into your wallet!

If you’ve already started using the app, I’d love to hear from you? How much cash do you have in your wallet?

Hayley

I am so bad with remembering to book items. I have under R100 in my wallet but I’m sure if I was regularly booking items and not getting irritated that the items I want are already booked out, I would have more lol. Well done you on your savings!!! Amazing job!

      Thanks Kim
You have to remember to open the app every Friday @12. That way you can get to book all the offers you want before they run out.
That’s probably why I’ve accumulated so quickly!
Also – there’s currently a promotion that if you login to the app via Whatsapp, you get double cash back on certain items:)

    Hey Kim
If you had R1000 savings in your wallet what would you do with it?

I use my money to pay for my daily coffee fixation.
Save R250 a month and you can kill that craving 10 times a month easily.
It means co-workers only have to deal with grumpy me 10 times a month :).

Let me know if I can be of any help. Hello@snapnsave.co.za

    Cheers and Happy Snapn

Hi, this is a really get way to save.

I just have one quick question.
Does this only apply to the major supermarkets? What about our community based supermarkets where we do our monthly shopping?

      Hi Ammara
Yes, you can snap for all National leading retailers. Its best to click on the offers itself to see which stores are listed for them 🙂

I do quite like my Snap n Save. Just don’t like that that I get 48hours to do so :p
Sometimes I forget or I literally can’t make it to the store.
I have just over R300 now 🙂 want to see keep building on to it through the year 🙂

The 48 hrs is a short time, I agree. I try to snap the till slip while I leave the store as if I don’t, I tend to forget and then miss out on the deals 🙁

Hey Felicity, even if you do forget to snap or if your 48 hours run out you can always book the offers again if they are still available. 🙂
