The time has come!
School is out and you’re probably wondering how on earth are you going to keep the kids entertained for over a month.
Don’t despair – I’ve made a list of all the places which have lots in store for your kids – and there’s something to suit every age group:
When an invitation from Bugz Playpark popped up in my mailbox, I was super excited! We’ve never been to the Park before, so it would be a first for all of us…
Alyssa and Aidan had been invited to a friend’s party there earlier this year, but due to illness we couldn’t attend – so the invitation from Bugz was most welcome.
Prior to our visit, I always had the perception that Bugz was more of a party venue rather than a place to just go and spend the day to play, but we were pleasantly surprised.
I also had the idea that the Park catered more for older kids, but I was really so wrong! There is really something for all ages.
School’s officially out and most parents are thinking about ways to keep the kids entertained and out of mischief for the next few weeks.
If you live in Cape Town – don’t despair! There are a host of things for you and the kids to do and I’ve compiled a list of activities happening in and around the Mother City this holiday.
This past Saturday we visited Table Mountain for the launch of the Cableway’s Kidz Season special, whereby two kids ride for free with every paying adult who has purchased a return ticket.
We parked our car at the Lower Tafelberg Road parking area and took a MyCitiBus to the Lower Cable Station. It was a day of firsts for both Alyssa and Aidan – their first bus ride and first trip up Table Mountain!
