Can you believe we are less than 6 weeks away from Christmas Day?
I started my Christmas shopping early this year and have already started thinking of how I’ll be getting my Christmas gifts over to friends and family all around South Africa.
This is exactly why I was so happy to get the chance to try out the Aramex Drop Box Store-to-door courier service.
For just R99, I can send my gifts (or any parcel or documents) to any place in South Africa, by just dropping them off in an Aramex Drop Box in any Pick n Pay store or selected FreshStop.
I thought I would test the service by sending Christmas gifts a little early over to my friends over in Mossel Bay, which is an area not deemed a “main centre” and would often take a little longer to be delivered with most courier services.
The Aramex website however stated that they deliver to main centres by 12h00 the following business day, while outlying areas may take up to 72 hours to deliver – not bad at all!
I wrapped up my gifts, packaged them in the Aramex sleeve and completed the waybill. Alyssa and I then dropped the packaged gifts off into the Drop Box at our local Pick n Pay.
Aramex is currently also running a really cool Christmas Wishlist competition, whereby kids can send Santa their Christmas gift wishlist and will stand a chance to win one of their wishes! How cool is that?
The wishlist can either be dropped off into the Aramex dropbox or there is also an option to enter online.
Alyssa dropped off her wish list in the Drop Box as well, and we are holding thumbs for Santa to grant one of her wishes.
The next morning I got the most beautiful message from Mossel Bay, thanking us for the lovely gifts to put under their tree.
I wonder if they will be able to wait until Christmas morning to open them? I know I wouldn’t!
