We Launched The #CTMomsWhoBlog Event

#CTMomsWhoBlog Cape Town Bloggers

Four strangers connected through Motherhood and the love for blogging – this is what transformed a simple coffee date into something so much bigger.

Being part of the blogger community is really a great experience as you get to meet so many new people and make connections that can literally change your life – and sometimes without even meeting the person face-to-face!

This is exactly what happened when fellow bloggers Ciska from Raising Hudson DK, Tracy from Liam and Cole  Nicole from Hearts and Hiccups and I became online buddies.

After meeting at blogging events and engaging with each other on social media, us 4 decided to have an actual get-together. A coffee date was the first suggestion, then we thought why not make the group a little bigger and make it a meaningful learning experience for all, right?

So we even gave our event a name – CT Moms Who Blog

What do you think?

On the day, we were a total of 9 bloggers – all Moms.

Who else attended the first #CTMomsWhoBlog?

We decided to meet for lunch at the Grand Africa in Cape Town and it was an absolutely gorgeous day, not too hot – just perfect.

The bloggers who joined Nicole, Tracy, Ciska and I were:

Michelle from A Thing Of Beauty
Tracey from The Milk Memoirs
Noleen from Miller in the city
Amy from Love, Amy
How gorgeous are these ladies?

We shared our blogging experiences, what our challenges are and what we love most about blogging. We spoke about some of the brands that we absolutely enjoy working with.
Speaking of which – Us hosts, decided to get our favourite brands involved who gracefully sponsored every attendee a product which made up the most AMAZING goodie bag – so amazing, that everything could not even fit into the goodie bag!!!
In fact, it could not even fit on my kitchen table!

We had so many amazing sponsors for our event, to whom we are ever grateful.

Thank you so much, to the brands listed below. Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing  reviews from some of their products. If you’ve been following me on Instagram you may have already been introduced to some.

Ha ha, look at us getting camera ready.
If you’re a Cape Town Mom that blogs and keen to join in on our next event, follow the Cape Town Moms Who Blog Instagram page for updates on the next one.
P.S If you’re swooning over the goodie bag items – you may want to follow the Instagram account ASAP!
