Aidan – Do you know why you’re so special today?
It’s your special day, your birthday! You are 3 years old today.
You are three times a little man!
For your birthday today, you should get at least three of everything — three hugs, three kisses and three birthday candles with three birthday wishes.
But before we do that, I want to share 3 highlights about your third year, for you to look back on one day. There’s obviously more, but let’s stick with the 3 theme 🙂
While you’re still pretty shy at times, once you warm up my boy – you really warm up! You just know how to melt someone’s heart with your precious smile and you literally give the best hugs!
You’ve become a little ladies man, charming all your friends Moms and Grans at school. I hope you continue to be as friendly as you are, Aidan.
So Many Milestones
This year – WOW! You have developed in so many ways. You are fully potty trained, your vocabulary is excellent for a little fellow and just a week ago, you completely gave up your dummy.
We are so proud of you Aidan!
Something we didn’t really take note of, but after some reflection, I’ve realised how you’ve actually learned to “self-regulate”. A year ago, you had absolutely zero sense of caution and would literally have no fear. We literally had to always be cm in reach of you to prevent you from jumping into a pool or running across a road!
Nowadays, you always take a step back and think about what’s going to happen.
When I was pregnant and found out that you were going to be a boy, I already imagined a future life filled with cars and superheroes. But I had absolutely no idea, just how obsessed you would actually be with Superheroes!
I know that you honestly believe you are in fact Captain America, especially since your name starts with an A… keep on believing Aidan. You will always be a superhero!
I’m so excited and blessed that we can have a Superhero party to celebrate with your friends next week. I cannot wait to see how much fun you’ll have! I know how much you love parties.
Mom, Dad and Alyssa love you so much, Aidan.
