This book has really left it’s mark on me. Never in my whole life could I have imagined such pain, fear and brutality as described in this tale.
I’ve heard many people say how this book changed them, including a few peeps who commented on my instagram post recently. I feel the same way.
Earlier this year I read another book by Hosseini, called The Kite Runner, and I was equally moved. This man really paints a vivid picture of life in Afghanistan – the suffering and brutality of it all.
