24 weeks in and I am enjoying the normality of the second trimester. Everyone keeps telling me how terrible it is to be pregnant during summer, but this is my second pregnancy during summer and it really hasn’t been that bad for me to date. Here’s a round up of the past 4 weeks:
Since we’ve shared the news of my pregnancy with #2, many people have asked and commented about what the age gap will be between Alyssa and #2. I never really thought about it that much before, but it’s got me thinking lately. Alyssa will be +-2 years and 2 months older than her brother.
So what is the ideal age gap to have between children? The truth is there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. It’s up to you to work out what length of gap may suit your family best. There are however pros and cons to smaller and larger gaps.
So we are halfway there! I am in total disbelief at how quickly this pregnancy is flying by. In just 20 weeks we will have a new member in our family.
So yesterday was the big day where we found out whether Alyssa will be having a little sister or brother. Before the visit to the doctor, everyone around me was telling me that it was a boy but I really believed that I am carrying another little girl.
With my first pregnancy I initially had a feeling that I was carrying a boy and was quite surprised when we heard that it was a girl.
