Only 8 weeks to go! I can’t believe it. This pregnancy seems to be flying by…
What’s happening with #2?
#2 is currently the size of a melon, weighs about 1.75kg and 41cm in length. He was still lying in breech at my last doctors visit 3 weeks ago and I am hoping that he has turned or will turn into a head-down position before I go into labour. I can’t wait for my next doctor’s visit which is on Friday, to see what he is up to!
What’s happening with my body?
I’ve gained about 10kg’s thus far, heartburn is still troubling me and my belly is making it very difficult for me to sleep comfortably at night.
Caramelised nuts – Yum! I used to think that it wasn’t a good idea to eat nuts during pregnancy but my doctor confirmed that if me or the hubby don’t have any nut allergies then there is no harm in eating them.
What I’m dreaming about?
I’ve been having a number of dreams where everything is just so disorganised – its probably due to the fact that there is still so much to get done before #2 arrives.
We’ve started buying a few cute things for the nursery. I got some inspiration, great tips and advice from Melissa Louise (see my previous post), so it should all come together in the next few weeks.
Alyssa is getting excited about meeting her brother. She unpacks the draws of the compactum in the nursery and looks at the small little clothing items and says “cool”, “my brothers” and “wow”.
I need to start getting things for my hospital bag – which according to some – should have been packed already!
Thanks for stopping by!
