Just under a week left to shop for that perfect Mother’s Day Gift & seeing that a wishlist worked well in my favor for Christmas and my birthday, I thought I’d share a Mothers Day one.
Hopefully, Alyssa and Aidan have enough saved in their piggy banks, because this is a big list. However, there are a few items on my list to suit each and every budget.

The countdown to Mothers Day has begun and what better time to recharge our batteries. As Mother’s we often put our own needs very last on the long list of priorities, but it should actually be first on that list!
If Mom is feeling down in the dumps, the rest of the family will find it hard to cope – so by taking care of yourself, you are actually looking out for the needs of your family.

Often we don’t even know how to relax and unwind anymore. Once we have kids the focus is all on them and giving them the best, and we tend to neglect ourselves.

It’s African Vaccination Week (24 – 30 April) in line with other World Health Organisation (WHO) Regions and the World Immunization Week.
The goal is to increase awareness of the importance of every person’s (children particularly) right to be protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
I’ve seen a few horror stories online about children getting very ill due to parents not opting to get their children vaccinated. There seems to be a trend where people are led to believe that there is some benefit in delaying vaccinations in children, however there is absolutely no research to back this up and immediately puts a child at risk of getting unnecessarily ill.
