Alyssa had an “absolute ball” of a birthday weekend – her words exactly!
Her birthday weekend kicked off early on Saturday morning where some of her school friends and cousins joined her for a Masterchef party at The Kids Cooking Club.
Alyssa didn’t quite know what kind of party she wanted this year. I was looking for ideas and then came across The Kids Cooking Club. We’ve heard about them before and seen what they have to offer at the Good Food and Wine show a few years ago – and Alyssa and Aidan absolutely loved it.
Alyssa’s 6th Birthday Party At The Kids Cooking Club
Alyssa loves helping us in the kitchen, especially when it comes to baking so I figured that cupcakes would be the most fun for her and her friends to bake together from scratch.
And I was right!
The baking session was really fun and interactive. We were guided from start to finish by our friendly hosts. After sanitizing our hands, we got to mix up ingredients for yummy cupcakes.
Aidan was hesitant to have fun at Alyssa’s party because he was surrounded by girls. However, he’s love for the kitchen shone through. He couldn’t help but enjoy himself.
After we mixed all our ingredients, we placed the batter into baking trays and our hosts popped it into the oven!
The kids then headed over to the birthday table and enjoyed some snacks before singing happy birthday to Alyssa.
Once the cupcakes were out of the oven and cooled down, the kids got to go crazy with icing and decorating their self-made creations! They also got to decorate a box to take their proudly made cupcakes home with them.
And of course you have to try out your produce…
At the end of the celebration, the birthday girl was awarded with a Masterchef certificate – sweet!
The party was definitely one to be remembered!
Thank you to the Kids Cooking Club for hosting a really fun party!
