School’s out for a couple of weeks and you’re probably thinking how on earth you’re going to keep the kids entertained this holiday?
I’m here to help – I’ve scouted around and made a little kiddies entertainment gig guide for the March holidays.
I’ve had a sneak peak for a few of them and will also be taking Alyssa and Aidan to some of them during the holidays – so stay tuned to my social media to get an idea of what you’re in for.
Things To Do In Cape Town This School Holiday
Movie Time – Watch Wonder Park
We attended the VIP Premiere night of the movie, Wonder Park at Canal Walk this week. Such a cute movie, perfect for kids of all ages (adults too). We got to watch it in NuMetro’s SceneExtreme cinema which is the biggest screen in South Africa!
Pretty cool. You can watch the movie trailer below, before booking your tickets!
It reminded me a bit of the movie Inside Out.
If you loved Inside Out, you will love this one too!
Discover Space At Cape Gate
From 15- 31 March 2019, your little ones can discover SPACE at Capegate Shopping Centre.
Kids will be able to learn all about space, enjoy a exciting rocket ride and get to climb through a 16m wormhole and laser zone!
Space at Capegate is best suited for children between the ages of 3 – 11 years old but I’ve been told that mom and dad will enjoy the Planetarium experience as well!
Situated on the lower level, under the food court bridge & R60 gets you a 30 minute space adventure! Tickets available at the entrance.
Holiday Activities At Bugz Playpark
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you most probably would have noticed just how much we love Bugz Playpark.
From Magic shows to Messy Play Workshops to a Unicorn Art Workshop – it seems like Bugz has the holidays sorted!
Head on over to their Facebook Page and check out the events they have happening this March!
Visit Waterworld Strand
We visited Waterworld Strand in the Summer Holidays and we had the most amazing time. The kids still talk about it.
We will hopefully still have a few warm days this month – and if we do, this is definitely our go to spot!
Fun Food Lab In Association With YuppieChef
Fun Food Lab For Kids will be keeping kids entertained this school holiday with the Willowbridge Fun Food lab in association with Yuppiechef and Split Second Science.
They will learn about the chemistry of food, create own edible experiments and enjoy their tasty and healthy treats to take home! Sounds good.
Bonus – every ticket purchased equals an entry into the draw to win one of four R 1000 Yuppiechef vouchers.
Food Lab will be located opposite Art Jamming, Willowbridge Shopping Centre from 21-30 March 2019. You can book your tickets here.
These are my top picks for the holidays! What’s on your Kids to-do list this holiday?
