I was the lucky winner of tickets to the Decorex Expo this past weekend, thanks to the awesome Ceramic factory. I absolutely love their products and their stand at the expo did not disappoint either. I totally fell in love with their ceramics last year when they exhibited at another expo.
My other fave exhibitor stands were definitely Mr. Price Home, where we even got to eat some yummy macaroons and the Caesarstone stand which just had such an appealing and fresh appearance.
Here are some pictures from the Expo – enjoy!
We celebrated Alyssa’s birthday at Giraffe House in Stellenbosch on Saturday and had so much fun! The venue, the weather, the animals and the guests all contributed to making the day oh so special for our little princess. Being February in Cape Town, I was at first a bit concerned that it may be extremely hot and unbearable at the venue but it seems that Autumn is making an early appearance and on the days leading up to the party I was actually praying that it wouldn’t rain on Saturday morning!
We had such a relaxing weekend for the first time in a very long while. Without a list of things to do, we leisurely enjoyed the beautiful Cape Town weather. On Saturday morning we went to the V and A waterfront for breakfast and browsed through the V And A watershed. It was the first time I’d been to the watershed and I will definitely be back again.
Not a month goes by without at least 1 kiddies party for Alyssa to attend and with Summer here I’m sure there are going to be many more to come. We attended a 2 year old party on Saturday at Green Point Urban Park for my friends little boy …. he’s really so flippin cute! He’s really into fixing things like his Dad and so the theme of the party was along the lines of Bob the Builder. Just look at the cool cake.
