I decided to make a photo collage for Alyssa’s birthday of her second year and found this cool idea on Pinterest. It was so easy to do, the hardest part was selecting which pictures to print and use as we have taken like thousands over the past year! It was so much fun putting it together and it was a great way to show party guests Alyssa’s milestones and different events during Alyssa’s second year.
Materials used:
- Poster Board
- Scissors
- Photos (I used black and white, with white border)
- Pen
- Glue dots (got them at CNA)
- Piece of ribbon
- Masking tape I drew the block number on the poster board (it really doesn’t have to be perfect as your pictures will be fixed and cover any glitches) and then cut it out with a scissor. It would have been easier to use a box cutter but I couldn’t find one at the time 🙁
I then arranged the photo’s on the number – stacking them in a staircase pattern to ensure all edges are covered and then stuck them down with the glue dots.
The ribbon on the back was stuck down with masking tape and that was that 🙂
I love that it’s so simple to make. Well done, a great idea!
Oh gosh, what a great great idea! It’s lovely
I love this. Wanted to do it for Emma but didn’t plan it properly and never had enough time 🙁
