I love a reading up on home decor and discovering new trends and DIY tips. I especially enjoy seeing how little changes and updates make a huge difference to a space and how it can literally make an impact in your life.

A little corner in our kitchen became such a waste of space up until recently. Kurt began working from the little table when lockdown first started and I started storing some of my candle making supplies in containers under the table. It literally became an eye-sore!

Christmas DIY – Lindor Chocolate Wreath

The Festive season is upon us and I am so excited to spend this special time with family and friends!

We are hosting a Xmas lunch with friends at our place this coming weekend, so I have the pleasure of setting up the festive lunch table.

When I attended Kamers in Stellenbosch last month, I fell in love with the dried wreaths on exhibition from JM Floral Design. I didn’t know how long it would last before it totally dried out, but thankfully it lasted and still looks great in time for our lunch.

I was excited about decorating it and thought of a few ideas. I searched Pinterest and Youtube and I got a few ideas but when I walked past the recently opened Lindt store in Canal Walk, a lightbulb went off!

Photo DIY (from Alyssa’s party)

I decided to make a photo collage for Alyssa’s birthday of her second year and found this cool idea on Pinterest. It was so easy to do, the hardest part was selecting which pictures to print and use as we have taken like thousands over the past year! It was so much fun putting it together and it was a great way to show party guests Alyssa’s milestones and  different events during Alyssa’s second year.
