Happy, happy birthday my sweet Angel.

Just 2 weeks ago, your best friend turned 5 and you told me it seems like forever until you’ll be 5! But here we are – you are officially 5 – a whole hand. High Five! It wasn’t that long of a wait, was it?

I’m so sorry that you had a tough week fighting off a gastro bug, but I’m so glad that you’re feeling better and that you’re on your A game to celebrate your special day with friends and family.

Instead of giving you a birthday card today, I thought I’d leave something here that you could perhaps read in lets say another 5 years or 10 years or even 2 decades later!

Over this last year you have grown up to be a real little lady and there are a few qualities that have stood out and are really noteworthy – 5 to be exact.

The first month of 2018 is done and dusted which brings us closer to the next “big day” of the year – Valentines Day.

Whether you’re single, newly wed or married for decades, Valentines Day is one that doesn’t go by forgotten – even if you don’t have a romantic bone in your body.

This year, my valentine and I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage so I thought it would be appropriate for me to turn up the heat with a lil’ romance on the blog!

Taking The Trash Out In Style With My Pink Brabantia Pedal Bin

At the end of last year, I spotted a post on Hirsch’s Facebook Page, who were on the lookout for 2 Bloggers to review a Brabantia Pedal Bin. The post immediately caught my eye, because 1 – I’m a blogger (duh) and 2 –  I was literally about to purchase a bin that very day!

But I never ever got around to that purchase and not too long after I sent my details through to Hirsch’s, the lucky Bloggers were announced.

So, you can only imagine my excitement to find out that I was selected as one of the winners! Not only was I in need of a bin, but the Brabantia Pedal Bins are without a doubt, the most iconic bins I’d ever come across – and it comes in a range of modern colours.

But of course – the pink one had me smitten.

Mama, Yo’ Skirt Is Too Short

Earlier this month, Kurt and I attended a gorgeous wedding celebration! The dress code on the invitation stated “Summer Chic”
