With Aidan turning one recently, I’ve been reflecting on the year that’s past – I will share some of those thoughts in a separate post but I thought I’d also share with you my list of products that have made life a bit easier and fun for us this past year.
Some of these products I’ve been sponsored and others not, but these are truly the top ten things which have have made a meaningful impact (It’s not only my opinion, but Kurt’s too).
Heard the saying “It only happens in the movies”? ….things like giving birth in the space of a minute, having a 3 course breakfast around the table as a family every morning and the good guy always ends up with the girl at the end of the movie.
The one thing that I’ve recently learnt that “only happens in the movies” is how easy they make it seem to tuck your little one in at night. These on-screen parents literally just read their TV kid a short book, give them a kiss and then switch the lights off … that’s it!
Yesterday we celebrated Aidan’s first birthday with a nautical themed soiree with friends and family. I love the nautical theme and we had fun playing around with some sailor props for our little photo booth.
We hosted the party at Gazoome Play centre in Milnerton and the kids had a fabulous time – the only complaint was that nobody wanted to go home after our 2 hour play time slot came to an end.
