Hey Everybody,
Writing this post, 3 weeks post holiday, is quite hard. I am literally dying for another one!
Since Aidan was born, we were never brave enough to face the prospect of travelling with two little kids. That doesn’t even sound like a holiday, does it?
We were starting to get cabin fever though and decided to give it a shot and book a holiday, not too far out of Cape Town the week after Easter last month.
So it just dawned on me – I’ve been doing guest posts of Mom’s and their little one’s celebrating their first birthday but I have not even shared my own experience of my little Aidan’s first year!
This past year has certainly been the hardest and longest year of my life – but it’s all been worth it:

Knowledge is power in any situation and when you become a Mom for the first time, you can’t rely on that maternal instinct alone to get you through those sleepless nights!
Clicks and Babyline have partnered up to host a series of workshops nationwide which are aimed at expectant and new parents. The baby bootcamp
seeks to provide expert advice, baby related information and demonstrations to these parents.
Anybody who knows me well enough will know that I love entering competitions – be it in magazines, online or on social media – I’ve also been known to win many of these competitions.
Winning something is like the best feeling ever. No matter how big or small the prize, it’s just the excitement of being chosen as the lucky winner.
In the last year or so, I’ve won a handbag, wallpaper for our dining area, a le crueset pot, tickets to a couple of events, a springbok jersey, a year supply of nail polish, gift vouchers and just this past Saturday I won a photo shoot at a Bloggers Meet up. (There may be more, I can’t remember)
