SIX …. how did we get here so quickly?
Every year on your birthday when I write you a letter, I literally get teary eyed thinking of how special you are and every year there are even more reasons to think so. God could not have blessed me anymore in the Daughter department.
Your loving, caring nature is absolutely amazing and as you’re getting older it’s shining through more and more.
How we look and how we dress affects how we are perceived by others – it’s a bit harsh, but it’s true – especially in the workplace. Dressing to impress can have a whole new meaning depending on who you are, what you’re doing and in which industry you work!
It’s not at all about being on trend with the latest fashion but it’s how you project your image through your choice of clothing.
I’m by no means a fashion expert or stylist but I do take pride in my wardrobe and dress code. I’ve just always been this way. I don’t fall victim to every new fashion trend and I don’t spend thousands each month, but what I do focus on is knowing and dressing according to my own style.
It’s the month of love and yes, yes, I know…. we should celebrate love each and every single day and Valentines day is way over commercialised. I do however love the idea of doing a little something special to celebrate love and relationships.
Kurt and I always exchange gifts on Valentines day, it’s just something we’ve always done.
So this year, I thought I’d make things easier for him by making up a short and sweet little wish list, just in case he gets stuck with ideas.

Have you ever been told that you DON’T look like a Mom?
After meeting someone for the first time, I sometimes get told that I don’t look like a Mom of 2 (how does a Mom of 2 even look, I ask myself???)
If you have also been asked this question, I think what it really means – is that you and I are really good at keeping a poker face!
But, if you look a little bit closer at me, there are a number of tell-tale signs that will show you I am most definitely a Mom!
