Twenty Sixteen

It’s the last week of 2016 and what better time to look back and reflect on the year that has passed…

At the beginning of 2016 I set a resolution:

“Healthy Mind, Body and Soul”

I can honestly say that I have made a concerted effort in maintaining a healthier lifestyle and I am happy with the progress that I’ve made overall.

In terms of Body – I’ve increased my fitness level, ran two 10km races and continue to run at least twice a week. I’m really happy with my progress and I will set higher goals for myself in the new year! Best part…  I’m actually enjoying it.

2016 Resolutions

My motto for 2016 is Healthy Body, Mind and Soul…. not only for me but also for my family.

The last year has been extremely taxing on all of our bodies. From colds to RSV to tummy bugs to ear infections, we’ve all had our fair share in 2015 and this year I will be engaging on a healthier lifestyle to strengthen my family’s immune systems. I plan to achieve this through opting for more nutritious foods, adequate (fun) exercise and making use of more natural and organic products. Growing our own fresh fruit and vegetables, taking more family walks in the park and encouraging the kids to drink more water are just a few ways of achieving this goal.
