A Date At Kamers

Hello Lovely People!

On Saturday morning, Kurt and I had a Date which we spent at one of my favourite events of the year – Kamers, which took place at the Good Hope Castle. As usual, it never disappoints.

This is my kinda date – I just love admiring the creative handwork of the traders who showcase their work.

It was so weird being there with no kids, we could leisurely walk around, sip on our drinks and even have real live conversations! We just smirked as we watched parents running after their little ones and trying to manoeuvre their prams through the crowds. Shame, Kurt even helped a lady carry her pram down the staircase.

Before we left home Aidan was asleep and Alyssa was quite fine to stay with their Nanny but she gave us a bit of a send off at the front door and just intimated that we needed to bring back some form of sweet treat to make her happy!

The atmosphere at Kamers was awesome and the weather really made it the perfect day for Kamers. There were so many amazing stands with stunning products on offer. I had to have a budget for the day, or else I would have gone seriously overboard!

In her class at school, there is a mix of different races and religions but to  those kids, it doesn’t mean all too much – but they are naturally curious as to why there are these differences!

Tales Of Having Two Kids

Having your first child is life changing for sure, but having the second one brings on a totally different ballgame. Last month Kim Kardashian posted on her blog,  some of her experiences of how life has changed since Saint was born. She referred to her journey on breastfeeding and how difficult it was for her to breastfeed Saint, with North around. While breastfeeding Saint on the one breast, she literally had to put a small milk carton with a straw in her bra on the opposite side and “feed” North. Her breastfeeding journey with Saint did not last very long because of this.
